This will be my 2nd year here in 3rd grade at Gettysburg Elementary. I began my teaching career in 2012 with the Mobridge-Pollock Elementary School District in the 4th grade and as the JH volleyball coach. I stayed a Tiger for the next 2 years. It was a great experience where I learned so many valuable skills through the district and my wonderful co-workers. Every time I go over the hill to Mobridge a bit of nostalgia comes back reminding me where I started out and the wonderful community I was able to become a part of.

In 2014, I accepted a position in the Gettysburg School district as a part-time aide in the Kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms and then taught Preschool in the afternoon, what an eye opening experience that was! :) I also was the girls JH volleyball and basketball coach for Potter County. It was a very busy year, but a great opportunity to get back to my roots!

I absolutely loved my curious little preschoolers and have a blog at http://misscroninspreschoolroom.blogspot.com/ that I used to document our humorous days, go check it out!

From there, a position opened up this past 2015-2016 school year to get back into the classroom fulltime with the Hoven School District in the 5th grade. I had a great time getting to know the community of Hoven and being able to become a part of the varsity sports program coaching volleyball for the Potter County Battlers as the assistant coach with my mom, Jamie. I looked forward to each school day as my co-workers were some of the funniest and most helpful people I've come across, I will definitely miss running into them daily. Luckily, I will still be able to see a few of my girl students in volleyball as they enter JH sports.

I have 1 older brother, Tregg (30), who graduated from the University of Saint Thomas (St. Paul, MN) in 2009 who works on our family farm with my dad, cousins, and uncle. I have two younger sisters, Alyssa (25) and Hallee (22). Alyssa finished up her Masters in Counseling through SDSU and took a position as a case manager with a LifeScape in Sioux Falls and Hallee is starting her first year teaching preschool full-time at St. Mary's Elementary in Sioux Falls and Coaching JH Volleyball at O'Gorman. I also attended NSU and graduated in May 2012 with a degree in Elementary Education, an Endorsement in Early Childhood, and a Coaching Minor.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, Jayden and our three mischievous dogs Zip, Clancy, and Dally (who you may see running the town every now and then as they are quite the escape artists). I enjoy reading, exercising, camping, crafting for my classroom, running 5K's, and spending time at my part-time summer job at West Whitlock Resort.
